Courtsworth M. Hardy, III, known to friends and family as Mike, passed from this life Thursday, October 17, 2024, at his home surrounded by his close family. He was born to C.M. "Bill" and Nancy Hunt Hardy on December 26, 1956. He graduated from Manhattan Academy and continued his education by receiving an associate degree from Hinds Community College and then he attended Mississippi State University.

He was known for pestering his wife, Deb, by constantly calling "time-outs" on her. He was a devoted Alabama football fan and tried to never miss watching a game. He was lighthearted and enjoyed a good laugh and tried to make everyone around him smile.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Nancy Hardy and both sets of grandparents, W.O. and Mary Hunt and C.M. and Irene Hardy, Sr., as well as a sister, Virginia Hardy Covington.
Mike is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Deb Hardy; their children, Michelle Hardy Carson (Josh), Charles Hardy, and Misty Guy (Josh); grandchildren, Kate, Rylan, and Emmy Carson, Madyson, Hunter, and Paylin Maw, and Axel and Lennox Guy.
