Craig Elliott Adams, a dedicated electrician by trade and a beloved member of New Hampton community, passed away at his home on July 22, 2024. He was born on October 11, 1977, in his hometown of Independence, Missouri.

Craig had a career as an electrician, where his skills and craftsmanship were admired by all who knew him. Beyond his professional life, he was known for his loving and funny personality.

His passion for creating pool cues from wood and wood working reflected his creativity and attention to detail. Playing pool was not only a hobby but also a way for him to unwind and connect with friends and family. His love for his truck was evident to anyone who saw him driving around town.

In his leisure time, Craig enjoyed listening to horror stories on YouTube, finding joy in the thrill of the unknown. "The Nightmare Before Christmas" held a special place in his heart, capturing his imagination with its unique blend of holiday cheer and spooky elements.

A true music enthusiast, Craig embraced various genres that spoke to different aspects of his life. Whether he was working diligently or relaxing at home, music provided the soundtrack to his days. He also had a fondness for having his feet rubbed, finding solace in simple comforts.

Aside from his hobbies and interests, Craig proudly served in the army, demonstrating his commitment to serving his country. His dedication extended to everything he pursued, making him a respected figure among his peers.

Craig is survived by his significant other, Christina Meeks; children, Courtney Adams, Allison Adams, Katie Miller; grandson, Julius Bryden Adams; siblings, Elizabeth (Rory) Baker, Laurie (Jeremy) Holeman, Michael (Garna) Adams; and parents, Larry and Teresa Adams, who will cherish the memories they shared with him forever. His legacy lives on through the love he gave and the laughter he brought to those around him.

A visitation will be held on July 27, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, Missouri.
