Craig Steven Davis, 55, passed away on August 30, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Born on February 6, 1970, in Johnson City, Tennessee, Craig was the cherished son of Gary W. Davis and the late Brenda Presley Davis.

Craig's upbringing in Johnson City shaped a man of fortitude and deep-rooted values. His life journey was shared with his beloved wife, Aylin Davis, who stood by him as a beacon of love and partnership.

A proud alumnus of Science Hill High School, Craig graduated in the class of 1988. His patriotism led him to serve honorably in the United States Air Force, after which he dedicated many years of service to East Tennessee State University before his retirement. His commitment to both his country and community was evident in his work and personal life.

Faith played a significant role in Craig's life. As a devout Christian, he was a member of the Greenwood Baptist Church, where he found solace and strength in his belief. His religious conviction was a compass that guided him through life's trials and triumphs.

Beyond his professional and spiritual engagements, Craig was a member of the Masonic Order and York Rite, where he connected with like-minded individuals who shared his passion for brotherhood and service. He possessed a unique appreciation for Nascar, as evidenced by his extensive collection of Dale Earnhardt memorabilia-an homage to a racing legend he admired.

His interest in architectural drawing showcased his creative and meticulous nature. Craig's drawings were not just representations of structures but symbolized the foundation and stability he provided to his own family and friends.

Craig's family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Snyder's Memorial, located at 5913 Kingsport Hwy, Gray, TN. A funeral service to honor Craig's memory will follow, with Pastor Bill Murray officiating.

The graveside service with Masonic Rites will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Hamlett Dobson Memorial Park. Attendees are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 AM.

Snyder's Memorial is honored to serve the family of Mr. Craig Steven Davis.
