Craig Gopher Obituary

Craig Darrin Gopher died April 19, 2025. He was born August 12, 1970 in Fort Pierce, Florida. A lifetime resident of Okeechobee, he was a member of STOF veterans and OCRA football. He enjoyed hunting, football, coaching football, FSU football, Miami Dolphins, and cars (hot rods).
Mr. Gopher was preceded in death by his father, Lester Lee Gopher; mother, Shirley Godwin; grandfather, Willie Gopher, Sr.; grandmothers, Arnie J. Gopher and Christine Godwin; son, Zachary Gopher; cousin, George Clay; lifetime friend, Buddy Cotton; and first wife, Denise Gopher.
Craig is survived by his wife, Selina Gopher, of Okeechobee; son, Josiah Gopher, of Brighton; daughters, Shyla Gopher, Nevaeh Gopher, and Graci Gopher, all of Brighton; sister, Esther Gopher, of Hollywood; many cousins, nieces, nephews, granddaughters, grandsons; and tons of friends.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Ortona Cemetery, 8898 FL-78, Moore Haven, FL 33471
