Ethel Jean Gopher died January 7, 2023. She was born on April 18, 1959 in Sebring, Florida to John Henry Gopher and Maude John Gopher. A lifetime member of Okeechobee, she was a member of First Indian Baptist Church and the Seminole Cattle Association. She enjoyed sewing, music, playing sports, going to the casino, beading and spending time with her family. In her younger years she has a vast interest in 4H.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Leslie John Gopher, Sr. and Sara, of Brighton; daughter, Chastity Harmon, of Brighton; seven grandchildren, Kaylee, Les Jr, Leilani, Jessica, Helena, Evalyn, Arianna; siblings, Lola Gopher, Beulah Gopher, Daniel Gopher, all of Brighton, and a host of extended family.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2022 at Ortona Cemetery.
