CRAIGORY LEROY LUPER, AGE 60
And a resident of Pine passed away Tuesday morning October 15, 2024 at his home. He was a longtime truck driver that started off locally as a young man but also drove cross-country for a long career. Craig drove a cattle trailer across the country and also was proud to drive U.S. Military ammunitions and equipment during Desert Storm. He would later haul gravel from the many pits around the area. Craig loved to tinker around his yard and take care of his goats and other barnyard animals. He loved to laugh and visit with everyone he met, never once meeting a stranger. Craig was a friend to everybody and was jokingly described as "the sweetest, foul-mouthed man you would ever meet". He did have a special place in his heart for his family and his pet bulldog "Duke". Craig recently began attending and was baptized at Bethel Baptist Church in Franklinton. He will be missed by all that knew him.
