Kathi Lendel Luper

Kathi Lendel Luper, 71, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026. She was born on August 15, 1954, to the late James Harrison and Katherine Jett Harrison.

Kathi was a woman whose heart was rooted deeply in family. She found joy in the simple, meaningful things-crocheting, working through puzzles, tending to her cherished Christmas cactuses, and sharing her days with her dog Lexi who was never far from her side. Her kindness, humor, and devotion to the people she loved made her a steady and comforting presence to all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Elijah "Buck" S. Luper Jr.; her son, Nicholas Adam Luper (Lauren); her daughters, Fawn Lendel Thompson (Christopher) and Laura Lynn Collins (Cameron); and her sister, Dawn Fisher (C.J.). She is also survived by two sisters in law, Mary Harrison and Burnae Pridgen (Marvin); two brother in laws, Jimmy Everette and Chris Luper; six beloved grandchildren-Jaylah Luper, Jordan Chavis, Logan Strickland, Kamran Chavis, Adylen Luper, and Holly Collins-as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 11, 2026, at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service.
