Jerry Wayne Luper, 74, of Princeton, Missouri, peacefully went to Heaven on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Pearl's II Eden For Elders in Princeton, Missouri, after a short battle with brain cancer.

Jerry was born on July 19, 1951 to Arthur Monroe Glen and Reva Irene (Hart) Luper. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1969. He completed a one year program for architecture at Platt College in St. Joseph, Missouri. He married Vicki Susan White on March 5, 1971, in Bethany, Missouri. To this union, two children were born: Artie Wayne and Andrea Susan. Jerry accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1973 and was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Cainsville, Missouri.

Jerry worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation for 31 years. He also ran his own backhoe and ditcher service for awhile on the side. After retirement, he still worked part-time helping his brother Junior in Branson and Larry Campbell in Cainsville.

Jerry and Vicki spent the last 23 winters in Alamo, Texas. They enjoyed traveling as a family when the children were younger and they continued traveling on their own making it to 45 states and parts of Canada and Mexico. He enjoyed owning and frequently trading Ford vehicles. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family but especially his great grandkids.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Reva Luper; in-laws; brother, Junior Luper; sister-in-law, Donna Luper; grandson, Draven Lewis Barton; nephew, Mike Luper; and niece, Kim Hertzog. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Vicki Luper of the home; son, Artie (Stephanie) Luper of Princeton, MO; daughter, Andrea Luper of Newtown, MO; brothers, Jack (Margie) Luper of Conroe, TX and Clint Luper of Trenton, MO; sister-in-law, Carol (Darrel) Stearns of Jewell, IA; brothers-in-law, Ronald White of Decatur City, IA, Roger (Marcie) White of Garden Grove, IA, and Randal (Heather) White of Osceola, IA; grandchildren, Ashley (Joseph) Quigley of Independence, MO, Malachi (Matt) Stafford of Harris, MO, Conner (Karen) Luper of Pattonsburg, MO, Hailey Luper of Hermann, MO, and Mercedes (Caden) Luper of Maryville, MO; great grandchildren, Parker Wayne, Palmer Dragen Lewis, Piper Susanne, Jackson Wayne, Alivia Rose, Baby Stafford coming soon, and Baby Bean in May; aunt, Teddy Luper of Ridgeway, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Roberson Funeral Home, 305 N. Broadway St. Princeton, MO 64673. Funeral services will be at 11: 00 AM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Zion Baptist Church in Cainsville, MO. Burial will follow in the Zoar Cemetery in Cainsville, MO. Memorials and contributions are suggested to the Zoar Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Conner Luper, Matt Stafford, Bob Washburn, John Francis, Rudy Finney, and Iven Jincks. Honorary pallbearers will be: Brian Finney, Caden Ingraham, Jordan Crouse, Marty Crouse, Doug Ragan, and Eddy Oswalt. Online condolences can be left at www.robersonfuneralhome.com.
