Trenton, MO: Cora Sally Collings, 100, Trenton, MO (formerly of Mercer, MO) passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, at a Trenton, MO nursing home.

She was born on November 5, 1925, in Mercer, Missouri the daughter of Jacob and Cecile (Higgins) Goodin.

On January 12, 1947, she married Billy Collings in Mercer, MO. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2018.

Sally was a graduate of Mercer High School in 1943 and went on to Chillicothe Business College for two years. She worked at Citizen's Bank in Lineville, IA and was a member of the Trenton First Christian Church.

Sally loved shopping, flowers, playing bridge, crafting, crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. She was a very loving and caring person and an especially loving mother.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gwen Weaver; and four brothers, Gerald, Billy, Dwayne, and infant brother Goodin.

Sally is survived by her daughters, Deanna (Dan) Matheney, Bloomfield, IA and Debi Collings, Trenton, MO; grandchildren, Chris Matheney and Jason (Wendy) Matheney; great grandsons, Drake and Beau Matheney; great granddaughters, Emma Matheney and Tiffany Hewitt; three great-great granddaughters; sister-in-law, Harriette Goodin; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30 at the Trenton First Christian Church, Trenton, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Lineville, IA. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
