Craig Marsh Obituary

Craig Lee Marsh, 72, passed away March 28, 2023 following a short battle with lung cancer. Craig was born the eldest of three children to Robert and Juanita Marsh on October 5, 1950 in Liberal, KS.

Craig graduated from Lawrence High school in 1968. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in personnel administration in 1973 at the University of Kansas where he met his wife Leslie. They were married on February 2, 1974. The two went on to have two children, son Cameron and daughter Caitlin.

Following graduation, Craig served as an officer and Navigator in the Navy. Through four years of service, he traveled the nation before returning to Lawrence to manage the family business. A dedicated business man, Craig managed M&M Office Supply for 37 years.

In 2014, Craig retired and picked up his love of reading, spending time with his family and rooting for the Jayhawks. A loving husband and father, Craig will be remembered for his gift of storytelling, humor, warm laugh and twinkle in his eye.

Craig was predeceased by his father Robert, mother Juanita and daughter Caitlin. He is survived by his wife Leslie, son Cameron (Liz) Marsh, sisters Janet (Richard) Belote and Linda (Clark) Cropp, nieces and nephews and loving family.

Visitation will be at 10 am on April 15 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence, KS. Service will begin at 11 am.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Just Food, Humane Society of Lawrence, Public Library Foundation and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
