Fort Walton Beach, Florida, at the age of 55. Born on June 29, 1970, in
Birmingham, Alabama, Craig's life was a testament to the courage and generosity that defined him.
Craig was a proud graduate of Calera High School, where he formed friendships and memories that lasted a lifetime. His professional life was marked by his meticulous work with Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, and paintless dent removal was not just a job but a craft he honed with passion. His dedication to his work was paralleled only by his commitment to his family and friends.
He is predeceased by his father, John McLendon, and survived by his loving mother, Paula McLendon. Craig's bond with his brother, Scott McLendon, was one of mutual admiration and deep love. He was also cherished by his Aunt Pam Ensey Brakefield, Aunt Janine Goode, cousins Marla Burch, Cade Burch, Blane Brakefield, Cindy McMillan, Dave Goode, and his loyal dog, Zero, who was his constant companion. Craig's longtime friend, Jon Graham, will remember him for his unwavering loyalty and the countless adventures they shared.
Craig's interests were as vast as the great outdoors he loved to explore. He was an avid camper, finding solace in the tranquility of nature. Water skiing the blue waters of our Gulf with fearless abandon, Craig embraced challenges with a smile. His collection of various memorabilia spoke to his appreciation for history and craftsmanship. A marksman at heart, Craig found joy in shooting and cleaning his guns with a meticulous hand and was always ready for hunting season. Fishing was not just a pastime but a cherished ritual that brought him peace.
Those who knew Craig would describe him as adventurous, always seeking the next thrill or challenge with a courageous heart. His kindness was felt by all, from the gentle way he treated animals to the care he showed his friends and family. Craig's legacy is one of a life lived fully, with each day embraced with enthusiasm and love.

His absence will be felt deeply by those who were fortunate enough to know him, but his spirit will continue to inspire us to seek adventure, to be courageous in the face of adversity, and to show kindness to all. As we say goodbye to Craig, we celebrate the indelible mark he left on the world and the memories that will forever keep him alive in our hearts.
