Kevin Tyrone Driver

Kevin Tyrone Driver, of Shelby, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the age of 55. Kevin was born in Frankfort, Germany to his parents, Kenneth and Hazel Driver on September 4, 1970 and then the family moved back to their home in Calera, Alabama. Kevin graduated from Calera High School where he enjoyed playing basketball. Kevin also enjoyed the outdoors and hunting with his dog, Sally. He especially loved fishing starting at the age of 4 with his dad, Ken. Kevin worked at Metrock in Calera. He was able to fulfill his dream of living on the river where he spent most of his days enjoying fishing. He loved to watch the sun set over the water and enjoy the peacefulness of the river. Kevin was a kindhearted person. He was always glad to help anyone in need. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Kevin is survived by his loving mother, Hazel Driver; father, Kenneth Driver; brothers, Keith Driver and Kyle Driver; sister-in-law, Ashley Driver; aunt, Audrey Fagan; nephews, Jordan Driver, Delon Driver and niece, Danielle Driver.

A gathering will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home. Brother Kenneth Mobley will be officiating.
