Craig Murdock 74, of Mapleton Utah passed away Friday January 9th 2026, of complications after surgery. He was born July 11, 1951 in Provo Utah to Bert Murdock and Elsie Jorgensen Murdock. He married Marian Lyons June 22 1974.
He was a natural born salesman he made his living in sales. In 1994 he started a manufacturing sales rep company, specializing in Native American, Western and Wildlife gift and home decor. With the help of Marian and a team of sales representatives they covered 8 states. He had just closed the business the end of December 2025.
His passion was hot rods. He was a member of the Gents Car Club. In recent years he had a lot of fun doing car shows with his 1956 Chevy 210. It wasn't just about the cars it was also the friendships.
Craig cherished the title of Uncle, and was very much loved by his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife Marian, siblings; Brent (Ann), Sherri (Paul) Lamb, Phillip, Linda, Brian, Rob, Ryan, step-mother Phyllis Murdock, brother in-law Greg Hunt, sisters-in-law Katie (Scott) Allen, Linda (Mark)Trandahl, Nancy (Tim) Raspiller.
Proceeded in death by parents; Bert Murdock, Elsie Jarvis, step father Dick Jarvis, sister Ruth Hunt, in-laws Richard and Bernice Lyons, brother-in-law Bill Lyons, sister-in-law Cathy Lyons.
Graveside services will be held Saturday January 17, 2026, at the Mapleton Cemetery 620 West Maple Mapleton Utah at 2:00 pm. Casual dress. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Tabitha's Way Food Pantry https://tabithasway.org
