Craig Nelson Obituary
Born January 21, 1953, in Jamestown, he was the son of the late Neil and Joan Anderson Nelson.
He was a Vietnam War veteran of the US Navy serving from 1974-1986.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the United State Postal Service as a letter carrier in Jamestown and earlier had a rural route in Kennedy.
He was a member of the American Legion, Eagles Club and Allen Park Men's Club.
Surviving is his wife Shelly Loyd Nelson, whom he married December 30, 1981; three children Sarah Nelson of Wisconsin and James (Holly) Nelson and Dawn Nelson both of Jamestown and two granddaughters Olivia and Nora Nelson.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother James Nelson and a special uncle Gary "Butch" Anderson.
In keeping with Craig's wishes no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
