Craig Steven Paslay Sr., of Philadelphia, passed away on February 17th 2024 at the age of 51. He was the loving husband of Patricia A. Severs for 30 years, and a caring father to Amanda Thompson (Michael Marshall), Craig S. Paslay Jr., Anthony C. Paslay, Ashley Paslay (Madeline Richards), and proud grandfather to Michael Marshall Jr., Riley Marshall.
Craig was born in Philadelphia to the late Charles and Mildred Paslay. He spent his childhood in Southwest Philadelphia and attended West Catholic, class of 1990. Craig was the youngest of ten, and will be missed dearly by his siblings; Carol (Joel), Charles (Cheryl), Cecilia McLaughlin (Uie), Boyd (June), the late Mark (Sue), Celeste, Michael, Patrick, and Daniel.
Craig will be remembered for his love of family, sci-fi, reading, whistling, and Dr. Pepper. Craig was happiest when spending time with family, and on the job fighting fires. He was a proud member of Philadelphia Fire Department since June of 2003. His commitment and dedication to the Philadelphia Fire Department, love for his wife and children, and the lives that he has touched throughout the years will forever be our memory of Craig.
