Craig Stephen Reardon Sr. passed away suddenly on December 2, 2023. Born in Bourne, Massachusetts on January 10, 1970, Craig was predeceased by his mother, Suzanne Obrey Reardon. He is survived by his father, William Robert Reardon, his children CJ, James, Mary and Shealyn, his siblings Micheal, Kathee and Kellie, his ex-wife Rachel, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Craig grew up in Billerica MA and attended the Willie Ross School for the Deaf, Beverly School for the Deaf and The Learning Center for Deaf Children in Framingham MA. Craig was proud to be Deaf, loved his Deaf identity, and was passionate about American Sign Language. We will miss his signing and his humor through ASL and are grateful for the many videos we have of him. In addition to working Market Basket for many years, Craig was employed at several warehouses, did demolition work, some painting and general handy work, and for a short time he worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. No matter what the job, he loved going to work and giving 100% (80% work and 20% talking football and joking around!). Craig was an avid sports fan and despite being born and raised in New England, he loved to root for his favorite team, the Chicago Bears. He was certain that the Bears would win the Superbowl each and every year. If Craig were here to help write this, he would definitely want to add, "GO BEARS!!" and "Watch!! This year will be the year!! You'll see!!" The only thing he loved more than the Bears were his tools (just kidding!). Most important to Craig were his children, and spending time with his family and friends. Craig was a very funny guy, and loved to make people laugh. No matter where he went, there would be laughter and wild antics. He would definitely (we hope) approve of this obituary. A Memorial Service to celebrate Craig's life will be held at Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Rd, in Lee, NH on January 6, 2024; Visitation will be from 10am-12pm with a service led by Fr. Shawn Carey at 12pm. Please feel free to wear something to represent your favorite football team, knowing in good faith that Craig would have worn Chicago Bears garb to your service, had he outlived you. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services by sending a check to NDHHS, 56 Old Suncook Road, Suite 6, Concord, NH 03301, or by going to NDHHS.ORG and clicking "donate". Dear Craig's family and friends, I was so sorry to learn of Craig's passing. I met him only a few times but always thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him every time we crossed paths. It is clear that he was an incredible gentleman, and I am hoping that the times you had with him and the memories he was able to make with everyone will help sustain you all through this time of hardship and grief. With my thoughts and deepest sympathies, Jessica Meehan
