Craig Eugene Stern was born July 31, 1971 in Daingerfield, Texas to Sammy Mike and Ethel Stern. He was peacefully called home on April 20, 2024.
Craig, fondly known as Craig "Mic" by his family and friends graduated from Daingerfield High School, Daingerfield, Texas in 1990. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Masons Love Chapel Lodge 558, Hughes Springs. Craig was a music producer and song writer and was the CEO of Strongarm Records. He coached little league baseball in his early years and was a member of the Blue Room Gang. He met and married Latasha Brown.
He was preceded in death by his father Sammy Mike, his grandfather Booker T. Stern, his grandmother Josie Searcy and sister Rosylin Elliott.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 22 years Latasha Stern of Daingerfield, Texas; children Tyrell (Ashley) Brown of Pueblo, CO, Yasmine (Shaylon) Smith of Daingerfield Texas, Anterrio (Lulu) Smith of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, Sha 'kia Williams of Ft. Worth, Texas, Craig Cannon of Florida, Teasia Stern of San Marcos, Texas, Chazlea Morris Stern of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, bonus son Jesse (Susanna) Kennedy of Cason, Texas; 13 grandchildren; his mother Ethel Stern of Daingerfield, Texas; his siblings Phyllis Mike of Dallas, Texas, Samantha Stern, Reginald Stern, Jadarius Searcy all of Daingerfield, Texas; special aunts Linda Smith and Julie Gnagne; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
