His dedication and commitment to his responsibilities were evident throughout his time there. Later, Deacon Moore united with Faithful Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor N.C. Sargent, where he continued to serve diligently until relocating back to East Texas. After visiting New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Daingerfield, he was led by the Holy Spirit to unite and serve there under the leadership of his longtime friend, Pastor D.A. Hill. At New Hope, Deacon Moore served as Chairman of the Deacon Ministry, Church Treasurer, and Men's Sunday School Teacher.
