Craig William Stevens passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the age of 64, after fighting Alzheimer's. He was the beloved husband of the late Sheryl "Sheri" (Riendeau) Stevens.
Craig was born on December 5, 1959, in Racine, Wisconsin, to the late Robert and Helen (Layhe) Stevens. He was educated in Taunton, MA, having graduated from Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical High School in the Electrical program. He spent his career as an electrical engineer for 40 years and took pride in his title as a "Senior Component Engineer" at the former Foxboro Company. Craig enjoyed spending his time with his children and grandchildren. He also loved working in his yard and going for drives in his truck. Craig will be remembered as a hard-working man, always willing to help those around him.
Craig leaves behind his children Andrew Stevens of Taunton, MA, and Jessie Cardarelli and her husband Brandon of Plymouth, MA, his siblings Roberta Hess of Dighton, MA, Douglas Stevens and his wife Karen of Westerly, RI, Darrell Stevens and his wife Joanne of Griswold, CT, Robert "Jim" Stevens, Jr. and his wife Gladis of Dallas, TX, Frederick Stevens and his wife Xianglan Li of Fort Worth, TX, and Darlene Arguin of Dighton, MA. He was the proud grandfather "Papa" of Ainsley and Zoey Cardarelli. He was blessed with many brothers and sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 24th at 10:00am followed by a Graveside Service at St. Joseph Cemetery 475 E. Britannia St. Taunton, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
