Craig Allen Vredenburg, born March 5, 1942 in Buffalo, NY, passed away February 8, 2025. He is preceded in death by wife Paulette and son Mark, survived by daughter Kari and daughter Chona’.
Craig married his beautiful wife Paulette, September 17, 1980. They enjoyed over 38 years together with their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, their bird’s Baby, Lucky, Zoey and Shih tzu Barney. His world revolved around Paulette and Barney in the years prior to her passing and then he and Barney were inseparable until Barney’s passing.
Craig was not one to enjoy crowds or gatherings, but he thrived when he could just sit & tell stories, talk about his exercise routines or what was on the news with a small group or just one on one. Craig loved to eat, especially dessert! The way to get him to stay longer at an event was to withhold dessert for a while He loved to spend his time puttering around ‘fixing’ things or ‘designing’ things using his hundreds of tools & his own ingenuity. As his health declined, he spent his last years at Diamond Janes Assisted Living in Grantsville Utah where he flourished with gentle nudging’s of the wonderful staff there. He was constantly talking about how they ‘made’ him paint a pumpkin, pass out candy, or participate in something or other all the while smiling at the memory.
Funeral Services & Interment held Sat May 3 at Noon at Mountain View Memorial Park.
