David Vredenburg Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 4, 2024.
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of David R. Vredenburg, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, who left this world on August 20,2024.

As one of the most dedicated fathers to exist, David would do anything for his family and friends. Even if you didn't think it was possible, he would find a way. A cheerleader, voice of reason, and endless supporter, his legacy continues through his eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who will cherish the many lessons he imparted and the stories he shared.

Affectionately known as "Mr. Fix It," David had an unmatched knack for solving problems. He thrived on challenges, approaching each task with determination and a belief that anything could be repaired. His friends and family often called upon him for help, knowing that David would have unwavering commitment to complete the task.

David was not just a fixer of things; he was a passionate educator. His love for teaching electronics was evident in the way he engaged with his students, sharing his extensive knowledge and inspiring countless individuals to explore the world of technology and home automation. His enthusiasm sparked inspiration amongst his students for decades.

He leaves behind his wife Jennie, his children Diane, Alicia, Christi, Andrew, Star, and Angela, along with his eight grandchildren, who will be celebrating his remarkable life on September 14, 2024, at Vince's Spaghetti in Ontario, California at 4:30PM in the banquet room. All those who were lucky enough to know him are welcome to join us for dinner at his favorite spaghetti place, honoring the memory of a truly extraordinary man.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a Mt. Sac Memorial Scholarship in Memory of David R. Vredenburg, reflecting David's commitment to education and community service.

I loved my father with all my heart. My rock is no longer here and I am feeling his loss greatly. This is also how my sisters Diane and Star are dealing. We are fortunate to have had a father who was a teacher a protector and provider. A person of endless possibilities is what my father was. He worked hard to provide for us all and now he is gets to rest in Heaven. I remember when I was around three or four as he was still married to my mother, Shirley. I use to fall asleep in the living room a lot. My father would pick me up in arms and carry me to bed. I felt so secure in his arm's. I will miss that security that I felt when he was around. Dad, you are greatly missed and loved.

David was my father along with my sisters Diane and Star. My best memory of him was when he was still with my mom, Shirley Davis. I used to fall asleep in the living room of our house and he would always pick me up and carry to my bed. I always felt secure in his arms.Je was always there for us. We miss him dearly
