Craig Michael Williams, 56, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville. He was born on December 27, 1967 to John Michael and Ruth Barlowe Williams.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Williams; and his beloved dog, Sequiros "Skittles."

He leaves behind his father, John "Mike" Williams; 3 brothers, Chris Williams (Tanya), Darby Williams, and Clifford Williams (Susan); and several nieces and nephews. Also left to cherish fond memories are many close friends and family.

Craig had a huge heart and was a friend to many. He was an artist in every sense of the word. He was a talented musician, a poet, and song writer. He also loved watching sports, particularly Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves. Craig was very opinionated and stood up for what he believed in no matter how popular his opinions were. Craig was a member of First Christian Church in Marion. He was very proud and thankful of the day he was baptized and longed for the day he could see his mother again.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 26, 2024, at the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. Rev. Don Mitchell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
