It is with great sadness that the family of Creacey Belle Johnson Webb announces her passing on January 9, 2025, in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Born on July 8, 1927, in Beans Fork to the late Eathern and Cora Alston Johnson, she lived a life rich with love and laughter.

A devoted wife to her late husband, James Edward Webb Sr. and loving mother to her late son, James "Jim" Edward Webb, Jr., she was also preceeded in death by her three sisters, Bertha, Opal, and Nannie; three brothers, Artemus, Willie “Uncle Dad”, and Bill Ed; and 7 half-siblings.

Creacey leaves behind cherished memories for her surviving son, Bill Denny (Sylvia) Webb; daughter, Betty Marie (Donald) Dunn; Grandchildren Devra Marie (Toby) Hunsinger, Debbie Lynn Sparks, Bill Denny (Alyssa) Webb, Jr., and Stacey (Robert) Frost; a special granddaughter-in-law, Nikki Webb; 9 Great-Grandchildren; and 9 Great-Great-Grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews who she loved.

Creacey Belle was known for her enlightening spirit and spunky personality that could light up any room. Her zest for life was infectious; whether it was sharing stories over coconut cake or indulging in oatmeal cream pies while sipping Dr. Pepper—“10-2-4”—she embraced every moment with joy. She had an unwavering love for her family that shone brightly through everything she did.  Her community involvement reflected her generous heart; she volunteered at the local Senior Citizen Center and played a role in building a church that would serve as a beacon of hope for many. As the proud owner-operator of Beans Fork Store, Webb’s Grocery, she became a beloved figure within Middlesboro—a place where neighbors gathered not just to shop but also to share their lives.  Traveling brought immense joy to Creacey's life as well. Alongside her husband and three children, they explored new places together, creating lasting memories filled with adventure. Whether it was playing marbles or card games during family gatherings or cheering passionately for UK basketball games from home—her enthusiasm never waned.  Creacey found delight in watching her grandchildren play—their laughter resonating deeply within her heart—and later took pride in being surrounded by nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren who adored their " Granny".   A true Elvis fan at heart, music often accompanied moments spent reminiscing about days gone by—a soundtrack woven into the fabric of family traditions that will continue long after she's gone.  As we say goodbye to this remarkable woman whose legacy is etched into our hearts forever—we remember not only what made Creacey special but how profoundly she touched each one of us through kindness, humor, resilience—and above all else—love.

The family of Creacey Belle Johnson Webb will receive friends on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Cawood Funeral Home Chapel, Middlesboro, KY.  A celebration of life service will follow at 1:00 p.m.

At the conclusion of the service, family and friends will travel in procession to Green Hills Memorial Gardens where Creacey Belle will be laid to rest.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Brown, Sean Wagner, Toby Hunsinger, Drew Felician, Jordan Harrell, and Bill Webb, Jr.
