Stephen (Stevie) Randall Cobb, age 73, of Frakes, KY, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in Corbin, KY. He was born on October 27, 1952, to Earl Cobb and Joyce Leach Cobb Partin.
Stevie dedicated much of his life to hauling coal and logs, displaying his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. Beyond his work, he cherished the simple pleasures in life, often found in his favorite chair alongside his loyal and favorite companion, “Ears.”
He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Cobb; his brother, Mike Cobb; his grandparents, Steve and Lona Cobb and Harve and Marie Leach.
Stevie is survived by the following members of his family; his wife of fifty-one years, Lois Cobb; son, Steven Cobb and wife Tiffani; mother, Joyce Cobb Partin; brother, Rocky Cobb; mother-in-law, Ruth King; brother-in-law, Stanley (Lora) King; sister-in-law, Janice (Darrell) Lambdin; nephews, Chris Cobb, Shane Proffitt Cobb and Tyler Cobb; and his dog, “Ears”. In addition, he leaves behind a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry on his legacy of love and kinship.
A graveside service for Stephen (Stevie) Randall Cobb will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the Cobb Cemetery in Frakes, KY, with Reverend Tim Henderson presiding. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
During this time of sorrow, we remember Stevie not just for the time he has left behind but for the many memories and moments shared with his loved ones. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
