Criselda Garza (Plainview)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Criselda Garza, 37 of Friona. Criselda went with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in the chapel of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday, September 11, 2023 at the funeral home. Criselda was born on October 23, 1985 in Rochester, Minnesota to Ann Garza and Domingo Rivera. She loved dancing and making jewelry. She will be remembered for her beautiful heart and how she never thought twice about helping her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Manuel Garza and Domingo Rivera, Sr. Criselda is survived by her mother & step father, Ann & Paul Pharis; her father, Domingo Rivera, Jr.; three sisters, Springer Munoz & husband Tyler Ramos, Ariel Garza and Alexis Pharis; two grandmothers, Andrea Hernandez & husband Oswaldo and Rosa Rivera; two aunts, Alice Perales & husband Luis and Sally Garza. Criselda was blessed with many nieces and cousins.
