Crystal Burlingham, 42, of Belfast, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. She was born December 1, 1981, to Carl Monarca and Cheryl Berhend.
Crystal Graduated from East Lyme High School. She married Shane Burlingham on May 16, 2009. Crystal worked in tax preparation, the banking industry, and commercial fishing. They moved to Maine to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle.
Crystal enjoyed cooking brunch and spending time with her children. She could often be found hiking, fishing, or mushrooming, she also enjoyed breeding and raising rabbits.
Crystal is survived by her parents Cheryl and Carl of Connecticut; brother Rob Broga of Connecticut; husband Shane of Belfast; children Annabelle age 13, and Jasper Burlingham age 7; brother and sister-in-law Jeremy and Amanda Burlingham of Waldo.
Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 2-4 pm at Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast and Reception will follow at the Waldo Town office from to 4 to 8 pm feel free to bring a dish to share.
