Crystal Mae Cope, 41, of Brighton, Illinois, passed away on February 26, 2026.

Crystal was born on September 7, 1984, in Alton, Illinois, to Clay Cope and Betty LaRussa. They survive.

Crystal lived a life centered around the things she loved most-camping, fishing, playing softball, watching movies, and cheering on her children at their ball games. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family and friends.

She is survived by her two children, William Frasier (Tatum Shaw) and Kyleigh Frasier, both of Brighton; her partner, Cole Weisaupt; her parents, Clay Cope (Monica Cope) and Betty LaRussa; her sister, Erica Allen of Wood River; her brother, Kyle Cope of Alton; her step-siblings, Samantha McGowan of Alton, Maximos Yeargain of Alabama, and Miles Yeargain of Alabama; and her two nephews, Sam Walker and Kairos Cope. She also leaves behind many cousins, aunts, and uncles who will cherish her memory.

Crystal was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Carolyn Karnes, and her maternal grandparents, Paul and Betty LaRussa.

Private services will be held by Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family for the benefit of William and Kyleigh Frasier.
