She was born in Ephrata, special needs daughter of Kenneth S. Hurst and the late Dolores M. (Rutt) Hurst, who passed away in 2025.
Until recently, Crystal had attended Helping Hands and Hearts daycare.
In addition to her father, she is survived by three sisters, Katrina, wife of Carl Hurst of Robesonia, PA, Kirsten, wife of Michael Wise of Loysville, PA, Colleen, wife of John Hoover of Morgantown, PA, and 22 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Emma Rutt and Amos and Martha Hurst.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, at Farm Crest Chapel at Fairmount Homes, 1100 Farm Crest Dr., Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from Farm Crest Chapel, at 9 am, with further services at 9:30 am, from Groffdale Mennonite Church, 90 Groffdale Church Rd., Leola, with Bishop Curvin Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
