Crystal A. Melanson of New Bedford, MA passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 39. Crystal grew up in Quincy, MA and had recently moved to New Bedford to be closer to work. She was employed as a cashier at 7-11 and became friends with some of her regular customers. She loved music and enjoyed singing. When she was young, she sang a beautiful solo on stage at a holiday concert. She also enjoyed going to concerts and would attend several concerts each year with her daughter and friends.
Crystal leaves behind her beautiful daughter Alicia Love, age 18 of New Bedford; her legal brother Charles "CJ" Engren of El Paso, TX; her loving mother Debra Daniels of Weymouth; her uncles: Charles Engren of Quincy, and Todd Engren of Quincy; her beloved grandfather Edward Engren of Quincy and her beloved late grandmother Georgianna Engren, who recently passed away on November 27, 2023; she leaves behind several cousins: Joe, Kelsey, Melanie, Andrew and Kiley; her best friend Samantha "Sam" Moran, who she was good friends with since childhood.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday, December 22nd, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center. On Saturday, there will be a Memorial Service in the Funeral Home at 10:00 am.
