Crystal R Tharrington

Crystal Rose Tharrington, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, in Guilford County, North Carolina, at the age of 64. Born on September 5, 1961, in Guilford County, Crystal lived a life marked by dedication to her family and her passions.

Crystal built a successful career in banking and finance, where her keen mind and diligent work ethic earned her respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike. Outside of her professional life, she found joy in the art of woodworking. For ten years, while living in Arizona, she skillfully crafted tables, custom lamps, and chairs, each piece a testament to her creativity and attention to detail.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Tharrington, and her brother, Tracy Tharrington Sr. Crystal leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory: her son, Michael Foster II; her adored grandchildren, Alexander Foster, Mason Foster, and Aiden Turman; her father, Clyde Tharrington; as well as one niece and one nephew.

Though no services will be held at this time, those wishing to honor Crystal's memory are welcome to send flowers. Her family finds comfort in the knowledge that she rests with those who went before her, and that her spirit lives on in the hearts she touched throughout her life. Crystal will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
