Crystal Tiegs Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Society of Madison on Feb. 19, 2024.

Crystal Lynn Tiegs was born into this world on April 2, 1973, and left by falling asleep in death on February 15, 2024.  Crystal married the love of her life, Butch Tiegs, in Galena, IL, on September 8, 1990, spending 33 years together as they raised their beautiful family and traveled on adventures far and wide.

Crystal was beyond loved and will be dearly missed by her parents, Don and Helen Anderson of Statesville, NC; brother, Jerry (Belinda) Anderson of Statesville, NC; husband, Butch Tiegs of Mineral Point, WI; sons: Jordan (Illyana) Tiegs of Darlington, WI, Taylor (Anna) Tiegs of Brodhead, WI, and Elias Tiegs of Mineral Point, WI; grandsons: Gannon, Oliver, and Ezekiel; and an uncountable number of family and friends from all over the country.

Crystal was a selfless, compassionate person with a beautiful heart. Within minutes of meeting her, you could feel like her best friend. She was a lover of all animal life, rarely being without animal companions or caring for strays she found, from cats, cows, to toads, and even wildlife that no one else would dare try to help.

Crystal was a baptized Jehovah’s Witness, with great faith in the future paradise promised to cure this world of the pain and suffering we all face now. We all eagerly wait to see her smiling face again, where we can hug her tight and cry happy tears of joy, being able to tell her how much we love her once again.

A Memorial Service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 543 Stone Hill Ave in Belmont, WI, on Saturday, February 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of service.
