Virginia "Ginny" Lee Tiegs, age 82, of Cottage Grove, MN passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024. 

Funeral Service will be 11 am on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Kok Funeral Home; 7676 80th St. St; Cottage Grove, MN with a visitation from 10-11 am prior to service.  Interment to follow at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. 

Virginia was born July 19, 1941 to the parents Joel and Rena (Dickerson) Ipock. She was united in marriage to Oliver "Tony" on July 1, 1959.  Virginia was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and was very generous to everyone in her life.  She enjoyed painting, cooking, jewelry making, and loved going to her lake home in the summer. 

Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Oliver Tiegs; daughters, Sheena (Jeff) Tipcke, Vicky (Bill) Harrell, Antoinette Smith;  grandchildren, John (Jennifer), Leslie (Shawn), Chad (Crystal), Michelle (Nick), James (Dawn), Rachel, Marcus, Edward; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Joel (Becky) Ipock.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joel and Rena Ipock; son, Lucky Tiegs; and sister, Loretta Ipock.
