Crystal Gail White, age 48, of Bessemer City, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born April 2, 1977, in Gaston County to the late Roger and Georgia Stewart White.
Crystal was a fun-loving and vibrant woman whose energy and spirit touched everyone around her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed fishing with her dad and brothers, and spending time chasing chickens with her daughter, Brittany, where laughter and love were close by. Above all, she cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. Her love for her three children and her steep bond with her grandchildren, Lennox and Violet, brought her immense happiness and purpose. She had devoted herself to her family and was proudly working to better herself for them, and because of them.
Her absence leaves a hole that cannot be filled, but her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved so deeply. She will be remembered for her laughter, her strength, and the deep love that she held for her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffery White.
Survivors include her daughter, Star Spurlin; son, Tyler Spurlin; daughter, Brittany Johnson (Jesse); grandchildren, Lennox Spurlin, and Violet Johnson; sisters, Kayla White (Jessie Ames), Helen Pressley (John); brothers, Stephen White (Katie), Tony Stewart (Angie), and Roger Morgan (Christina); and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 4, 2025, in the Bible Fellowship Holliness Church Fellowship Hall at 2350 Lawrence Road, Clover, SC 29710.
