Mike Hatch Obituary
Michael “Mike” Ray Hatch, age 61, of Bessemer City, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Mike was born April 8, 1964, in Homestead, Florida, to the late Raymond Dale Hatch.
Mike was employed as a heavy machine operator with Mecklenburg County Land Use and Environmental Service and received his GED and his Readiness Certificate Award from Gaston College. He was a member of St. Paul’s Community Church. Mike was a simple man who enjoyed the small things in life.
Survivors include his cousins, Raymond Goins (Wanda), and Eddie Goins (Diane); and aunt, Myrtis Goins.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Heafner officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM, prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Westview Gardens Cemetery in Bessemer City.
