Jean Arthur Obituary
Jeanne was born on September 17, 1950 in Lincoln County, NC a daughter of the late Donald Eugene Patterson and Nan Lail Patterson. She was a former secretary for trucking companies. Jeanne loved her family and was active in their lives whether racing with her son or ballgames with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Arthur and a son, Jeff McCall.
Survivors include her son, J.T. Arthur and wife, Ashley of Cherryville; three grandchildren, Devin Hoskins, Ashton Arthur and Neveah Arthur and one great grandson, Stetson Hoskins.
The family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Lail officiating.
Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
