Curt Ainsworth Obituary

Curt Ainsworth of Hurst, Texas passed away on November 2, 2025. He will always be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, and friend to all that knew and loved him.  Curt was born on January 5, 1959, in Texarkana, Arkansas to parents Charles and Naomi Ainsworth.  

Curt worked in the aviation industry for many years.  Shortly after high school, Curt joined the US Army. He served his country from 1983 to 1989 stationed in Germany for much of the time. He was proud of his service and time spent in Germany. He always wanted to visit Germany again.  

Curt is survived by his brother Gary and sister-in-law, Kathy of Willow Park, TX and nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.  

Curt was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed playing sports especially tennis and pickleball. He also enjoyed watching football and attending Ranger games. Curt was always talking sports to anyone who would listen. He loved his Camaro and attended car shows in the DFW area with his brother, Gary, and car friends. He was a great fan of the Beatles and rock and roll music.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst, TX on December 5th at 11 am. Inurnment following at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX.
