Curt Douglas Morgan, eldest child of Gary Douglas Morgan and Joan Kay (Freese) Morgan, was born on March 7, 1963 in Albion, NE. He was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church in Albion. He graduated from Albion Public High School in 1981 and then attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

On November 11, 1981 Curt was blessed with his beloved son, Nathan Cain Douglas. He treasured his time with him. Curt moved from Lincoln to his forever home in Highlands Ranch, CO in 1985. Curt's passion was his prized Koi fish that he raised in the pond he built at his home. He kept several fresh water and salt water fish tanks inside his home as well. He loved the sea and all creatures in it. He also enjoyed boating at Chatfield Reservoir and snowboarding at Keystone, CO. Curt loved spending time with his family and dear friends enjoying the mountains in Colorado.

Curt was a gentle soul who loved nature and wildlife. His pond was surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers that he planted and nurtured He loved his dog Rosie and cat Meeko. He had a smile and deep dark eyes that drew you into him with ease. Curt battled cancer for nearly 13 years with courage, dignity and grace; never faltering even at the end. He will be missed more than words can convey.
