Curt Glen Oakeson

Curt Glen Oakeson, 53, passed away on March 30, 2025, due to complications from ALS. He was born on September 7, 1971, to Glen and Moana Oakeson. On February 22, 1997, he married the love of his life, Michelle Ann Spade, in the Salt Lake Temple.
Curt had a deep love for the outdoors and found immense joy in traveling with his family. Family was everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent together. Some of his favorite activities included boating, camping, and fishing, with Teton National Park holding a special place in his heart.
From a young age, he developed a passion for cars and enjoyed learning how to fix them. In middle school, he discovered a love for nature photography, a passion he carried with him throughout his life.
A dedicated professional in the telecommunications industry, Curt was known for his hard work, integrity, and expertise. More than anything, he was known for his kindness. He had an innate ability to sense when someone needed help and was always there to lend a hand, no matter the circumstance. His generous spirit and unwavering support made a lasting impact on those around him.
Curt is survived by his loving wife, Michelle, and their children: Camron (Naomi) Oakeson, Mikayla (Georgia) Whitehead, Auston Oakeson, Carson Oakeson, and Amelia Oakeson. He was a proud grandfather to Sophie. He is also survived by his father, Glen, and his sisters: Monica (Eric) Figgins, Elissa (Clark) Etherington, and Stacey (Ben) Sessions. Additionally, he leaves behind his beloved in-laws, Valeria and Roger Spade, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Moana and grandparents
A celebration of Curt's life will be held as an open house on April 12, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Daniel Ward Meeting House, 2285 S. Daniels Rd, Daniel, UT 84032.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Daniel 2nd Ward, as well as the many friends, neighbors, and loved ones who provided unwavering support and kindness during this time.
