Curt Ward Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tullahoma Funeral Home on Oct. 1, 2025.
Curtis Decker Ward, age 66, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the Tullahoma Life Center.
Born on April 27, 1959, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Curtis was the beloved son of Dorene Ward and the late Chester Ward. After high school, he put his technical skills to work in appliance repair, a career that kept him busy and connected to his community.
Curtis was a man of boundless energy, a generous spirit, and an incredibly outgoing and personable nature who could make conversation with anyone he met. He loved to stay busy, particularly with his hands, and was always finding ways to improve the home he shared with his wife. He was an avid fisherman, a passion evidenced by the magnificent brown trout mounted proudly in his home.
His creativity extended beyond handywork; he also enjoyed drawing and meticulously building his large collection of model trains. Curtis found peace and enjoyment in the natural world, often spending time birdwatching and feeding the local wildlife. His love for the outdoors also translated into a rewarding hobby of gardening, where he enjoyed cultivating various vegetables.
Curtis's greatest joy in recent years was his marriage to his loving wife, Kelly Ward, whom he wed in 2014.
In memory of Curtis, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to a charity of choice.
