Obituary for William "Gary" Keller
William Gary Keller, known to all as Gary, age 73, of
Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away on February 4, 2026. He was born on December 16, 1952, in
Winchester, Tennessee.
Gary was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was married to the love of his life, Annie Mae Martin Keller, and together they built a home centered on faith, family, and dedication.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold (Judy) Keller and Betty (Harry) Burt; his siblings, David Keller and Dwayne Burt; his children, Tishia (Troy Wayne) Boyd and Jamie Mines; his grandchild, Shaunee Boyd Brawley; and his great-grandchild, Noah Martin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Annie Mae Martin Keller of Tullahoma; his children, Stephanie (Jimbo) Faxon and Troy Anthony Boyd; his daughter-in-law, Sue Kingery Mines; his siblings, Mike Keller, Renee Green, Darlene Hodge, and Scott Burt; and his grandchildren: Brandon Shelton, Codey (Sierra) Taylor, Jesse Faxon, William Boyd, Sethi Mines (Chris) Goodge, Adrianna (Chris) Hall, Liz Kingery (Dustin) Chamlee, Abbie (Zach) Davis, Allie (Erin) Desserich, Jayden Boyd, Samantha Martin, and Jamie Martin.
He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren: Jackson Chamlee, Vaylen Taylor, Cayden Taylor, Carenity Taylor, Carter Taylor, Noah Taylor, Carter Huey, AshLynn Overman, Zachariah Overman, Henry Thomas, Luca Goodge, Kali White, Rozlyn Liggit, and Josie Martin, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mr. Keller served for several years as a Tullahoma Civil Defense Officer and later worked as a truck driver for Tennessee Apparel, where he retired after 35 years of dedicated service.
Gary was a true Tennessee Volunteers fan. You could always find him watching the game every Saturday with his kids, with all the grandkids proudly cheering "Go Vols!" through the years. He was a faithful Christian and an honorary Deacon of Christian Lighthouse Church. He shared his testimony of how God carried him through his cancer journey with everyone he met. While he gave thanks to Vanderbilt and their wonderful doctors, he always said God was the true healer who kept him in His hands for over 14 years.
The family extends special thanks to Bryan and Cassie Overman, Kelly and Janie Cunningham, and his family in Christ who helped care for him daily throughout his cancer journey. As the saying goes, it takes a village-not only to raise a child, but to care for your loved ones-and the Keller family is forever grateful for their village.
Gary will be remembered for his strength, his faith, his love for his family, and the legacy he leaves behind in the hearts of all who knew him.
