Medicine Lodge - David Keller, 70, passed away due to complications from Leukemia on February 3, 2026 at home. He was born on January 19, 1956 in Medicine Lodge to Jim and Carolyn (Kumberg) Keller.
David graduated from Medicine Lodge High School in 1974. He worked at Boyter Tire, the local locker plant and was a life long farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion.
He enjoyed working with his Angus cattle, going to the casino, and enjoyed going to H40 everyday. Some of his past hobbies included coyote hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his son, Lucky Keller of Medicine Lodge; daughter, Julie (Joseph) Schartz of Larned; sister, Nancy Rice; aunt, Laynne Fisher; grandchildren, Calli Jo, Noah, Australia and Saber; great-grandchildren, Emerald Jewel.
David is preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. A come and go Celebration of Life is to be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at The Heritage Center, 1056 Southeast Isabel Road, Medicine Lodge, Kansas, 67104.
Memorials may be made to Medicine Lodge American Legion Post #69 and mailed to Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge, Kansas., 67104. Online condolences may be made at www.larrisonmortuary.com
