Beverly E. Keller, 85, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, February 2nd, 2026, at Penn State Health Medical Center, Lancaster, PA.

She was the beloved wife of Kenneth Keller, with whom she shared 64 wonderful, loving years of marriage.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Miriam (Tomlinson) Smith.

Beverly graduated from Manheim Township High School and became employed as a stenographer at Armstrong World Industries. After marrying, she devoted her time to her family, raising their three children together.

Beverly and her husband are longtime members of Church of the Apostles UCC in Lancaster. Over the years, they met an abundance of longtime dear friends. The families would gather together and made a lifetime of amazing memories visiting Ocean City, Hershey Park, Hartman Center, Camp Minisi, Camp Mench Mill, and, of course, we cannot forget to mention the New Year's Eve parties. She was also involved with numerous groups and volunteer positions within the church. Her most talked-about position was her time as a preschool aide.

Her family and friends were everything to her. She loved when the whole family was able to be together, especially during the holidays. She would always request a game of 500 rummy with her or rounds of Yahtzee (with her granddaughter & grandson in law). She won quietly but cheered loudly for others lucky enough to win while playing against her. She also looked forward to her once-a-month gatherings with the "A&O" Girls, sharing family updates and endless laughter.

Other interests she enjoyed were being a member of the Leisure Lanes senior bowling league, watching for butterflies and birds that would come to her favorite lilac bush, and most of all being around dogs. Over the years, dogs were a special and large part of her life. That love grew as her children and granddaughter would bring their dogs from out of state for overnight visits and "boarding." She especially loved getting to know each one – proudly able to name all eight of her Granddaughter's dogs from memory.

Beverly always had a huge smile on her face and an even larger gentle heart to match. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Their fond memories of her will live on in their hearts and minds forever.

Surviving Beverly, in addition to her husband Ken, are their children, Bruce Keller (Stacey Hoffman), Diane Johnson (Steve), Dena Oberrender (George), and will always lovingly be "Bevianna" to her only grandchild, who was her pride and joy, Rachel Schultz (Grey). She is also survived by one brother, Theodore (Ted) Smith (Claudia), two nephews, James Smith (Kathy), Mark Smith (Ashley), great-nephew (and bowling buddy) Mark (MJ) Smith, and great-niece Corinne Smith.

There will be a private burial for the immediate family at a later time.

The family wishes to greatly thank the entire staff of St. Anne's Retirement Community for the exceptional care, kindness, and comfort given to Beverly during her time there. Each and every one of you held a special place in her and our family's hearts. Of course, we cannot forget to mention all the sweet, adorable dogs that would come to visit and brighten her day.

For those desiring, contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Church of the Apostles UCC or to St. Anne's Retirement Community.
