Charles F. Snyder Funeral Homes & Crematory - LancasterEric Wayne Miles, 67, of Lancaster, passed away after a long & courageous battle with cancer on January 30, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Charles and Nancy (Feeser) Miles. He was married to his beloved wife, Darcy A. (Berry) Miles.
Eric was a 1976 graduate of Manheim Township High School. He obtained certification in heating, A/C, and refrigeration from YTI Career Institute in 2007. Eric worked for Armstrong World Industries for 37 years until his retirement.
Eric was an avid car enthusiast and proudly owned and restored a 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback. He also loved riding motorcycles and owned a Harley Street Glide & Springer. Eric was a Philadelphia sports fan, dog lover, and family man. Most of all, he had an immeasurable love for his daughter, stepchildren, granddaughters, and great-grandson.
In addition to his wife Darcy, Eric is survived by his daughter, Kelsi Miles (Phil Bünzli), stepchildren: Heather Kuluga (Richard) of Denver, Adam Shober (Haleigh) of Ephrata, and Amber Tamkus (Randy) of Shamokin; 6 granddaughters: Mackenzie Wentz (Kaleb) of Denver, Aubree Kuluga (Owen May) of Denver, Brynn and Marley Shober of Ephrata, Leila and Lainey Tamkus of Shamokin; great-grandson Colton Wentz, brother Charles “Randy” Miles (Lynn) of Lancaster, nieces Heather Gillenwater (Zachary) and Kimberly Snyder (Ryan) both of Lancaster, nephews Andy and Jon Miles, and sister-in-law Darla Miles Harsh (Marty). He was predeceased by his brother Brian “Boots” Miles.
A casual gathering to celebrate Eric’s life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 1-4 PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Eric’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org.
