Tina Michele (Fickes) Menges age 49 of East Petersburg, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, from a hemorrhagic stroke suffered on Sunday, Jan. 25. She was born May 14, 1976, in Lancaster, and was the beloved daughter of Tim and Sharon (See) Fickes. She was the loving wife and soulmate of Scott Menges since August 31, 2002.

She graduated from Manheim Township H.S. in 1994 and is still close friends with former classmates, especially Tracy (Hollinger) Winters who was her bestie since nursery school. While in high school Tina played soccer on both JV and Varsity teams (she was selected to L-L League Section 1 All-Stars) and field hockey in her senior year. Tina graduated from California (PA) University, Washington, where she also played soccer. She worked for TriStarr Staffing for a short time, then was hired by Costco (Harrisburg, then Lancaster) and has been there for 23 years, the last 9 years as an assistant GM.

Tina was a baptized and confirmed member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she participated in youth activities and choir. Soccer camp, Girl Scouts, elementary school musicals, and violin playing (until the dog howled too much) kept her busy. She loved annual trips to Rehoboth Beach with her family. As an adult, Tina earned the respect and love of coworkers for her strong work ethic, goofy sense-of-humor, superior listening skills, kindness, giving spirit, grit and determination, and positive attitude. She truly cared for people. She loved singing and dancing along to "80's" music and enjoyed contributing to charities helping animals and children. She was an over-the-top devoted dog lover, and after Yuengling (her dear English Bulldog) passed, she adopted Luna, a quirky rescue dog from Alabama who she took on long walks every day.

Tina loved spending time with her "made-in-Heaven" matched husband Scott, family (especially her brother, Scott, who talked with her daily on the phone), and dear friends and co-workers who made her laugh. She greatly anticipated going to OBX every Labor Day week with her family (the beach was her "happy place"), enjoyed bird watching in her yard, and loved celebrating holidays with her family (excitedly hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the past several years).

She was a gift to everyone who knew her. Her bubbly laughter, twinkling eyes, and vibrant personality will live on in our hearts forever.

In addition to her husband Scott, her parents, and her brother Scott (husband of Missy who she loved), Tina is survived by her Aunts: Jean (See) Stauffer, Susan (See) Bair (partner of Dave Anderson), Linda (Fickes) Bechtold, and her dear mother-in-law, Beth Menges, as well as her brothers-in-law, Jeff Menges (Paula) and Craig Menges (Allison). She has many surviving cousins, a niece, Zoe and nephew, Wes. Tina was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Ray Menges.

A Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 AM with a Memorial Service following at 11 AM on Saturday, February 28, at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10 Delp Rd., Lancaster, PA. Interment will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in her memory be made to: Pet Pantry of Lancaster Co., 26 Millersville Rd., Lancaster, PA 17603, or Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster, PO Box 104, Lancaster, PA 17608.
