Curtis Bracher

Curtis Lee Bracher, 62 of Holts Summit went peacefully and surrounded by his loved ones to be with the Lord on Friday November 14, 2025. He was born January 14, 1963, in Libertyville Illinois, a son of the late Darrell Lee Bracher and Diana Mae Johnson. Curt graduated from New Bloomfield High School class of 1981. He was united in marriage on March 18, 2020, to Angela Gayle Bracher, who survives at their home.
Curt was owner of BraveCo Construction all his adult life. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lohman MO. Curt had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a man with the biggest and kindest heart and would help anyone anytime. His love and compassion for animals was truly unbelievable, especially his pet Squirrel Sophie and deer he named Baby.
But what he most proudly carried was his title of Papa. His eyes would light up when they came in the room.
Including his wife Angela, Curt is survived by 4 children. Amber Bilyeu (Charlie) of Holts Summit. Dalton Garner (Hannah) of Brookfield. Garrett and Adyison Wykes of Centertown. 5 grandchildren Jesse, Callie, Alyssa, Kaysen and Bentley. A sister Christine Eiken & brother John Johnson.
Along with his parents, Curt was preceded in death by 1 sister Vivian L Pittman.
Family & Friends will be received on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Lohman MO. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
