Curtis Leroy Broadway

Curtis Leroy Broadway, 85, of Vanceboro, NC passed away March 27, 2026 at CarolinaEast Medical Center. He was a Navy veteran and a retired electrician and farmer. Curtis was a member of the Vanceboro Christian Church where a memorial service will be held at 10 AM Saturday April 4 2026.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Mary Elizabeth Broadway ; his brother, Sammy Broadway;

and his wife, Thalia Carawon Broadway. He is survived by his sons; Brian Broadway and Dean Broadway and his wife Jennifer ; his sister, Louise Anderson ; his brothers ; Robert Broadway and his wife Ada and Linwood Broadway and his wife Jo ; his grandchildren , Layla Adams; Curtis James ( C.J.) Broadway and Rachel Broadway and his loving dog. Oreo.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren and playing solitaire .
