Curtis Eugene Harris, 73, of 302 Clinton Highway, Clinton, SC, widower of Georgia Bell Harris, entered into eternal rest on August 13, 2025.

He was born in Hodges, SC on March 21, 1952, a son of the late Thomas Harris Carrie Bell Robinson Harris. He was retired from Matthew Mills and a former member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by: his wife, Georgia Bell Harris; a daughter, Eddie Mae Sayles; and a son, Elbert Childs, Jr.; two siblings, Thomas Harris, Jr. and Shirley Mae Anderson.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a daughter, Janie Lee Webb, of Greenwood; five grandchildren: John Robert (Dutchess) Sayles, Jr. of Greenwood, Tanya Michelle Sayles (Landareus Duncan) of Greenwood, Michael Tyrone Sayles of Abbeville, SC, Alvin Brown of Greenwood and Delario Byrd of Greenville; and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Percival-Tompkins Funeral Home with Rev. William Butler officiating. Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Funeral Home.

The family is at their respective homes.
