Curtis Ray McTeer, age 55, of Sparta, Missouri passed suddenly at his home on June 6, 2025. Curtis was born on February 5, 1970 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Missouri, son of Lonnie McTeer and Vicki McTeer (Walker).
Curtis was a loving person with a big heart. If you asked anyone who knew him they'd say he would make your day when he walked in a room just by a simple "Hi" with a big smile on his face and open arms to give you a big hug with an "I love you!!".
Curtis had a love for all who ever crossed his path and his family. He had a green thumb to growing flowers and a garden which was something he loved doing. He loved the family pets, Daisy and Dolly, they were his best friends and followed him everywhere he'd go. He loved the outdoors and family fun.
Curtis is preceded in death by his father Lonnie McTeer; step-dad Lewis Gold; sister Jennifer Wolf; and a niece Kayla McTeer. He is survived by his mother Vicki McTeer (Walker); sister Rayla Wells, brother Charles and wife Kat; nieces Chelsie, Shana Anne, Amylou, Autumn, Aurora and Mimi; nephew Clayton and great nephew Prezley; as well as many other relatives and additional family and friends.
A family directed memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025 at First Oldfield Full Gospel Church with Alex Harrison officiating.
