Curtis Mitchell

Curtis Don Mitchell, born on October 6, 1977, in Ogden, UT, passed away on January 28, 2026. A resident of Roy, Utah, Curtis was a dedicated family man and an accomplished professional in the field of Cyber Security. His commitment to his work was recently recognized when he graduated from the University of Las Vegas in Cyber Security. This achievement was a testament to his dedication and hard work. Beyond his professional life, Curtis was known for his passion for hunting and cars, hobbies that brought him great joy.

Curtis was a stalwart member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He found strength and guidance in his faith, and it was a cornerstone of his life. In the words of the Book of Mormon, "Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life." (2 Nephi 31:20) He and his beloved wife, Tori, were sealed in the Bountiful Temple on November 28, 2009, a union that brought them and their family immeasurable happiness.

Curtis is survived by his loving wife, Tori, and their five children; Henry, Pete, Adela, Robbie, and Caden. He also leaves behind his mother, Nola Mitchell, and sister, Jennifer Smith. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss him dearly. Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Don Mitchell, brothers Larry Mitchell and David Price, grandparents Maxine and Lavor Bowden and Lenora and Leroy Mitchell, and his uncle, Lee Mitchell.

Curtis's family was his pride and joy, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. Those who wish to remember Curtis are encouraged to share memories and upload photos to his memorial page.

Funeral Service will be held Friday February 6, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Roy LDS 15th Ward, 5900 S 3100 W, Roy, UT, where also friends and family may call from 9:30-10:45 prior. Interment to follow at the Clinton City Cemetery.
