Curtis Scott Piette

Curtis Scott Piette, 61, of Lafayette, CO formerly of Attleboro, MA, passed away February 10, 2025, in Colorado.

Born November 18, 1963, in Attleboro, MA he was the son of John E. Piette of Attleboro and the late Marilyn (Proulx) Piette.

In addition to his father John he is survived by a sister, Rhonda Ann Hamilton of Russellville, AR.

A graduate of Attleboro High School and Sterling College in Vermont. He studied ecological and environmental classes with the goal of working in nature. He also volunteered at the New England Wildlife Center in Weymouth, MA where injured animals are rehabilitated and returned to the wild. Curtis's love for the outdoors started at an early age with belonging to the cub scouts and boy scouts.

Curt relocated to Colorado fifteen years ago where he could start each day to the sight of the Rocky Mountains. His love for camping and hiking had brought him to the place he called home. Known by his friends as the "fire king". Nobody could make a better and bigger campfire than he could.

Curt will be sorely missed by his family and friends and will never be forgotten!
